I can accept that, given your clarification. When I say "He tolerated them" I mean to say that He was not intolerant of them, as we usually understand the word - did not refuse to deal with them, speak with them, be seen with them.
But yes, He also did not abandon them or leave them as they were. Valid statement.
Of course, it's ironic that you bring it up here as though we're foreign to the idea, since a large part of this thread was spent very patiently bringing DR around to realize the error in his reasoning, rather than allow him to continue thinking a falsehood. ;-) |
