as I don't have the good secular justification for amendment 22. It might have something to do with preventing abuse of power. If there were NO good secular justification for it, I would say it probably shouldn't be there. It doesn't violate the first amendment in any case because it has nothing to do with religion. :-p (1) There is NO good secular justification for the proposed marriage amendment. (2) Its only justification is religious. Hence it not only (1) should not be made an amendment by, it (2) is unconstitutional via the first amendment.
