from being _intrinsically_ religious. Using religion to justify something doesn't necessarily make it religious. Neither does using the Bible as propaganda for it.

Either way, bigotry of either a religious or secular nature has no place being sanctioned in our laws.
I agree completely, but that is not relevant to the discussion.
