Security makes area for protestors to help keep them undercontrol. These people were outside of the bountry. They were in an off-limits area (it may have been a bad choice of words on my part). I've seen police do this before. I remember when the KKK was in my home town. They blocked off areas of the capital, and people who passed the barriers were arrested. Its all about maintaining control. Since this couple refused to go in the designated pretest zone, they have the right to be arrested because of trespassing.
