BOINC question by flagnad 2004-07-14 06:56:24
Ok. I've got a real stupid question for ya.

I'm trying to get the BOINC client loaded on my Linux rh7.2 system [2.4.9-13] (I know it's old but i can't upgrade my kernel due to drivers only working on that kernel) but when I try to gunzip the file (boinc_3.18_i686-pc-linux-gnu.gz) i get "not in gzip format." (I get the same error when i 'tar xzvf' the file too)

I've tried everything I can think of. Anyone got any ideas? I'm sure it's something very simple but I'm having a brain fart.

Thanks
