Need advice on getting an UPS by frohike2006-11-19 12:55:59
As far as brand goes, APC is one of the best, IMHO by atwork 2004-07-14 06:23:29
Most of my small (I.E. not hard wired) UPS units at work are APC, the ones that are not are ones I inherited from somewhere else. FOr protecting your home PC and/or networking, I would not hesitate to get one.

As to your particular application, that specific UPS may or may not work for you. YOu need to determine what your backup requirements are and size the UPS accordingly. For the avaerage home PC, that should be just fine. Personally, I have a total of 3 2200VA UPSs protecting my network rack, two servers, three PCs and my telecommunications cabinet (cable modem, VOIP interface, etc.).
