What's the (reasonably) best encryption algorithm? by Khaar 2004-07-14 06:19:10
Reversible of course. And easy to implement.

I have to make a service to send some data over e-mail, fast. PGP, signatures and stuff that's comes up when e-mail is mentioned sounds good, but first e-mails must be sent, received and decrypted by Friday noon high. The last time some coworkers were working with certificates, it ended up a real mess, so if encryption implementation can't be done in an hour, I'm dumping it, because I don't have the time to mess around (too much other work left).
