| There are theories among georgers (yes, I am one, when I have leisure time that's not sucked down by UF) that the older bills actually get hit faster than the newer ones. People seem to look at them more, just in the process of getting them to lay right-- this is how I started, trying to smooth out an older bill to get it into a finicky vending machine, and noticed the URL. There are, of course, conflicting theories, but in any case a bill has to be *very* ratty before it gets pulled out of circulation. Does it have any actual tears, or is it just kinda soft and floppy? Don't keep George a prisoner; set him free! |
