Unfortunately like many issues regarding Constitutional law this will never be put to bed since everybody interprets the Constitution and its amendments differently and the 2nd amendment seems to be one of the most difficult to come to a consesus about.

It would seem to contradict one of your points since it was Ashcroft that changed sixty years of executive branch gun control
policyqotdsubmit at this domain> in with a brief filed in 2002.

Please note that this is not an exhaustive search and I am not trying to change your mind, I simply present an intrepretation which makes sense to me based on what I have read, seen, heard, experienced, etc.

BTW I am glad we disagreed on at least one point or else I would have been worried that the central heating system broke down in a place where it is supposed to work for an eternity :-)
