You gave him NET30 instead of payment upon receipt which is normal for a 1st time client. You then encounter a chisling weasel and are SURPRISED? You put out TONS of bait! You literally asked for this by doing each and every one of the above! I'm sure it wasn't your intention, but you did. I priced myself out of consulting one by being too low-priced, so no one believed I was worth hiring. You're doing the same. When you present yourself as an easy mark, expect lowlives to treat you that way.
