Email exchange that made my day. by Illiad2004-07-12 11:25:18

The first thing that struck me when reading the original TLP was that, if it had been me, I'd have said something along the lines of:

"Well, if you want it all on your computer so badly, how about sending me $ so that I can burn a CD and send it back to you?"

Which obviously wouldn't have worked, but that got me to thinking about it. Illiad, hypothetically, would you have objection to that? If someone offered you $, would you be willing to throw it on CD and send it out?

I personally have thought many times about just going through one-by-one and saving them so that I don't have to hit your server again and again re-reading old strips. Then I got to thinking about it and realized that, while it may cost you bandwidth (and thus money), it also gives you more ad visibility.

If you did offer a 'buyable' archive, though... well, I'd probably go for it. :) Assuming that I had the $ at the time, at any rate.

Thoughts?
