  xorg IS sfree, more or less by nix 2004-07-12 14:55:01
xorg is a fork of xfree, based on a snapshot taken just before the xfree license changed. They use the same files, and look for them in the same places. You might be able to get them both running, but it probably wouldn't be easy.

xorg runs fine on the same configuration files as xfree, except that you have to rename "XF86Config" to "xorg.conf", and change the value of "Xkbrules" from "xfree86" to "xorg".
