Currently *VERY* startled... got a producer on IM by Celticess2004-07-12 08:54:02
What I decided to reply with for those curious by Celticess 2004-07-12 14:36:40
My reply is below:

Hello. I've decided to not do the interview. There are a variety of reasons for my choice. Number one is I value annonimity. Another factor is I'm an autistic(no not like rainman) and that makes me diffrent as well. So hard to determine if it was my being a geek that is what affected me socially fully or the other.

How geeks and nerds are treated where I am is probably distinctly different than where you are in the USA. Yes they do have their own group I suppose but aren't particularly singled out the way I see represented in american cultural movies.(that is if such movies have any real accuracy to how people are treated in school there) Alot of geeks here contrary to what is portrayed in american media use the title with pride to some extent. Also they aren't all ugly ducklings or sports phobic. Or for that matter even fashion and music taste challanged. As well not every geek and nerd could be bothered to watch starwars. I still haven't seen them all. :) So stereotypes that might apply where you are don't here. As with other factors I feel my contributions would be inapplicable.
