I'm obviously far too used to microcontrollers. Only one working register, and a few strange restrictions on using it. (Which explained why a particularly clever bit of code failed completely) Heck, on the one I use most often you can't even check if one number is bigger than another in a single instruction. I think I did some bitwise comparisons when I needed to do that - couldn't think of anything faster.
