without any problem. ;-)

I'm not saying that for me, one rule applies, while another applies for others. I am saying as clearly as I can that I do not know the "rules." I choose to act a certain way - to follow the teachings of Christ as I read them - because (1) I was raised in the protestant faith and (2) it seems to me to be a good way to guide my own actions. It is, in that sense, a "rule" only in that I have applied it to myself. As someone trying to follow Christ, I call myself a Christian.

I do not automatically believe that those who label themselves differently than I - by sect or by religion - are "wrong." Clearly, though, I do not know one way or the other - no still-living human does. Many Christians would label me false for this statement, and they are free to do so. They do not know, any more than I do. ;-)

Where do you find inconsistency there? Or, for that matter - as I stated my beliefs concerning my choices in the next to last para of the previous post - a lack of free will as you define it?
