...you're not the only one. As a New York City resident, I actually can understand why it might be a good idea to postpone the election -- if I remember rightly, our mayoral primary in 2001 was postponed because of September 11. However, one thing's for certain...I'll be keeping a very close eye on GWB between now and then. If I don't see him making a concerted effort to tighten security over the next few months, I for one will be mighty suspicious of any "convenient" attacks which happen close to the election. At the same time, however, I also happen to think that any terrorists who attacked the US close to the election would have to be complete idiots given that the most likely response to this would be precisely the one they don't want -- a second term for GWB.
