OBL would prefer Bush continue to remain in power. While he is there, however, the more disputed his tenure the better. It'll keep him from making good decisions (realize that OBL doesn't realize how redundant that is) and just help further OBL's cause.

#1, 3, & 4: you are basically excusing the current larger trends based on the fact that smaller examples of perfidy exist.
Overall, you seem to be entirely too ready to dismiss the problems out of hand, despite their being real, significant problems.
I think some significant distinctions between Bush and Hitler are that Hitler spoke German, and, um, he caused the VW Beetle to be built. You might add that he never said "bring it". |
