Very fake, IMHO - obviously this person thought you were a teenager or something, then when you said you weren't, ran with it. And I know it's an IM but why aren't they at least capitalizing properly? "the web" "somehow i found your website" Very dodgy indeed; all non-committal. I'd like to hear how this plays out though (ie, what number they give you and such) but I would take some major grains of salt. Just think how excited most people would be to recieve this IM.
