DHCP woes by hadji 2004-07-12 09:36:20
Aside from all the obvious connectivity issues which have proven themselves to work on various computers, why would one computer stand out as not receiving an IP address?

It's a Windows XP computer and all it gets is the default 169.254.x.x. I can tweak a couple various, random things here and there and successfully get an IP address. And network functionality will be stable. But when I reboot, it's back to the 169.254.x.x.

Has anyone ever encountered such an anomaly?
