been stuck without internet access since friday when I left work. What started as 'upgrades' or 'routine maintenance' obviously went wrong.

the ISP notified me of the planned outage on thursday, and it was supposed to be friday from 3:30pm-7pm (yeah, great time to plan maintenance) and still wasn't back up last night.

nicely enough, a guy at the ISP called saturday afternoon and said Qwest engineers were pulling their hair out trying to fix it, but it'd likely be this morning before they could. I guess the link between Qwest and the ISP is down, because my DSL modem shows the link between me and Qwest is OK.

argh.
