Reading Makes Our Country Great! by crash_ 2004-07-12 06:18:31
I watched Fahrenheit 9/11 over the weekend. I cried, I laughed, I got mad, I laughed again, and then I got madder.

I would like to apologize to all USA UFies for voting straight Republlican in the last few elections (I don't regret voting Sonny Perdue into office as governor of Georgia though). I truly feel that I let my country down by helping the cartel known as the Bush Administration to get as far as they have.

I do hope Michael Moore release this to DVD before the November elections. I need to send a few copies to relatives and in-laws before they vote.

Even if you feel that Moore is full of propoganda bullcrap, it still wouldn't hurt you to watch this movie. At the very least, it makes you start asking questions that you can research later.

I personally would like to know how I can trust my president to have my best interest in mind when he is so financially tied up in Saudi and bin Laden investments. How can I truly believe that someone who is such good friends with the bin Laden family is honestly seeking to capture one of their sons? Geez, no wonder he hasn't been found yet.

To any Iraqi UFies that may be reading this, I want to apologize to you too. You really got shafted in this one and I am so sorry I once supported it.

While it is probably best that Kerry not show open support for this documentary, I must say it is probably the best thing to happen for his campaign. When I got home, I was ready to send a huge donation to his election fund. Considering how broke we are right now as we try to buy a house, that is saying alot.
