I think he made an oops in describing the product (moreso when I asked him a pointed question about the registration). I don't think he was being malicious. That said, it bugs me that I'm between a rock and a hard place on this. The only carrot/stick I can wave in front of him (in trying to get all/part of the shipping included in the refund) is the promise of a positive or negative feedback.
