Automated http POST'ing... by MrTrick2004-06-23 20:22:13
Well, it seems that this problem is a tricky one.. by MrTrick 2004-06-23 20:57:10
Arghh! This is quite frustrating.

I know that utilities exist to do this sort of thing already, that's why a lot of sites put an image next to one field in their form saying "write down this word" to stop unscrupulous types creating 100,000 hotmail addresses in one fell scripted swoop.

Unfortunately I'm at work, and the powers that be may not look kindly at me searching for "spammer tools", or visiting those sorts of sites. Does anyone have any idea?

Actually... how does the whole "submit" thing work, anyway? Can I just figure out what the url needs to look like and use wget or something? Or does there need to be more going on...?
