is a certain method of estimating your worth (soliciting offers) and you fail to take advantage of it, on your own head be it. I think you are seriously underestimating the bean counter's perception of the job market. I am a fully-qualified Jr. Systems admin., and I can't get a job doing anything but a temp POS rollout, and some part-time maintenance. There are multiply-degreed people doing the jobs I'M qualified for.
