Rich people on Cambie don't want it there, so they pushed for Arbutus, but there just isn't the ridership levels needed on Arbutus to make sense. On top of that, there are justifiable questions regarding "public private partnerships" involved and the overall cost of the project. But that shouldn't have been the killer of the line, with political crap out of the way they should have been able to come to something more reasonable. KS
