BUT, If you are going to connect Richmond to Vancouver downtown WITHOUT going to the airport, you would be just plain dim.
As well, the line should be going over from 3 road to the Deas Tunnel, then under the Fraser to Delta. You then are removing people from the tunnel traffic, connecting to South Richmond, going up through the core of Richmond and over to a major employment centre (the Airport with about 10,000 workers in a week) and then into downtown Vancouver.
Failure to include the airport would be like building the current Skytrain line and skipping Metrotown. Just plain dim. |
