I am the first to admit that I dont like microsoft that much, but in XP defence, the majority of security breaches are caused by low level user(3 out of every 4). I am assuming that you work in a larger company, so you should have a pretty hefty router which blocks any unsolicited requests. So don't blame XP (in most cases), and just Lart the (l)user who unleashed the virus on the system:):)
