instances of a keyword are required in emails to trigger an ad, and whether it needs to be outgoing or incoming mail.

I would think that outgoing mail would be more useful for them to target with, since what you're writing about seems to indicate your interests better than what people are writing to you about. But I could be wrong.

Anyway, yes, I suppose it could work. If they start doing this based on your suggestion and we get flooded with a bunch of "enghasdhastsahdf" mailings, we'll have to hunt you down. ;)
