Have a look at clickspace.com Clearly your friends wineseller is using their marketing software, which will automatically respond to your friends requests. Likely it also sends regular updates. Rather than clicking on it, paste the link into your browser. As for the spam assessment, my govt-backed automated job search system sends me emails that only just make it past SpamAssassin. (Makes me wonder how often they havent ...) On the other hand, if you are running Adaware and Spybot or something similar, you should be able to get rid of anything that gets left behind.
