I need money and those that I work for needs figures in order to justify that they give me money. They want to get a better rating/more viewers/more listeners while still cutting costs. So I provide the figures so they can fire some other people, who thereby will get a chance to do something else with their lives, instead of being stuck in the same old treadmill.
