Have your current employer get in touch with them (the manufacturer, assuming that it is still your old employer and not someone who has purchased the rights to the name) and enquire about making a bulk purchase for resale, say on the order of 50 thousand units. Bounce it back and forth to get their best price. Then have your employer advise them that things sound good, and they will forward that 'best price' to their man in charge of purchasing, otherwise known as lord_dolphin, to sign off on the deal.
