Warning signs include the realization that the test taker cannot completely answer sample free-response questions and is having difficulty with some multiple-choice problems. Other symptoms include procrastination, hurried searches for review materials, and hyperventilating.

The aforementioned test taker may also be heard screaming, punching pillows, or frantically flipping the pages of aforementioned review materials. n addition, he/she may start talking about himself/herself in the third person, even though he/she really doesn't mean to do it.
