Though I see my phrasing in the original post didn't make that clear. I think it's a little ironic that they're in the running to do this, but I don't think it's necessarily wrong. My concern is in line with LionsPhil's, as I replied to his post - if built, it will become a target to "strike back" at Osama (and one has to assume it may be "us" striking it), no matter how inappropriate that is, and innocents will be hurt. Again.
