limits. Once a child is over 2 if you aren't disabled you must work. Some scummy people will have babies to just keep on it.(I know the person that used to rent this house I'm in admitted to doing just that one day) Also they cap how much child tax benifit you get back I think so after awhile it's not that productive to have tons of rugrats. Also it's required if your on benifits and seperated that a court order is made for maintance. If any amount over $400 is got per month the government pockets that as reimbursement for the benifits they pay out.(ie you can only earn $400/mo and over that they take it all or a precent... I forget which) Further they will pressure both parents to work particularly as they see only one needs to care for that baby under 2. If the parents look in a questionable state or the children seem such schools can phone and complain and families be investigated and children taken. What happens then is if they want their children back they get forced into parenting courses and proving fitness as a parent. Then they give them back.(which I think is still questionable in some cases as this one woman I know got her kid back, ran to the UK using her dual citizenship and now is on benifits there... unable to care for the babies she has, still having more and her husbands parents and the system have to support her there ick)
