| But if you have no money in the bank and no place to go, it's not always a good idea to alienate your parents. I understand that you want the freedom, it certainly sounds like you deserve it, but I just have seen too many people turn 18, tell their parents to go to hell, and then have no where to turn when they don't have money to eat because they can't earn money while in school or no place to go when the dorms close over breaks or in the summer, or all sorts of other things. I'm sure you're not that stupid, but it just always makes me a little nervous when I hear someone counting the days until they are 18 so I had to at least say this, even if just to make myself feel better. |
