My parents said no to the MSU Freshman summer seminar abroad thing. I guess I shoudn't be too surprised.
The thing that really irks me is that when I complained about not being allowed to do anything and them being so restrictive, they gave what they claim is a fair concession. I am now allowed to cross the street (a dirt road that gets less than one car through per hour) on my own to get the newspaper out of the box, as long as I come right back (I'm still not allowed to walk down the road).
Woohoo! I'm 17 years old and I'm finally allowed to cross the f***ing street on my own!!!</sarcasm> |
