Our wedding cost us less than $500.00
I have a friend that is a seamstress. She wanted to give us our clothing as a wedding gift. We paid materials (she really couldn't afford to buy the materials) and thanked her profusely for the time she put into them.
Cake was baked by a friend that likes to bake.
A friend who is ordained performed the ceremony.
Bridesmaid wore a nice dress picked out at the Salvation Army.
Best man wore purchased clothing similar to the grooms (we bought it).
Brother-in-law likes to grill food, so we bought burgers, chicken and hotdogs and asked him to grill them for us as a gift. He was happy to do so.
Music was from a P.A. system.
Only guests were family that would have killed us had they not been invited (siblings, parents and grandparents).
