Pedantic improve your grammar/spelling post by Blackbyrd22006-11-19 12:55:59
  A capital letter after a semicolon? by LionsPhil2004-05-11 08:18:39

You contradicted her... by Naruki 2004-05-11 11:11:40
by saying "not what I was taught" and then saying _colons_ are the ones for lists (she had said _semicolons_ are used for lists). I merely pointed out that your contradiction was incorrect.

Now that you have "clarified" what you meant to say (if you are to be believed), your initial contradictory subject is invalidated.

The rest of my post was what I like to call Additional Information, and it was intended for the benefit of anybody reading my post. There was no "need to assert", so get those foolish notions right out of your head. Are they out yet? Well, hurry up!

I don't really get how your subject is dirty or colloquial. Help?
