It was $1300 and it payed for everything (food, pictures, officiant, flowers, etc.) All I had to do was show up. The cake was even there waiting for me.
Course I guess a wedding chapel would be inappropriate for a pagan wedding, but I have seen some cool settings along waterfalls and gazebos in gardens. The place we went to was building a large hall that could be used for both receptions and for non religious weddings. I had such a good experience with the "wedding in a can" that I highly recommend it for anyone. It sure is a lot less expensive.
Jason knew two girls that volunteered to be bridesmaids. I found them dresses cheap from after prom sales. They didn't quite match, but like you I felt that grown women really ought not dress alike. We rented the tuxes for the best man and groomsman, but for the bridesmaids, I gave them nice gifts for their trouble. |
