| there are two people I'm suprised are still together. Nice people but they put themselves through hell. The dropped out of uni as they felt they weren't getting enough out of it and found it a waste of money. This was 3/4 of the way through so they had all that debt from loans to pay off. Then they immediately got married(add another aprox 10,000 to 30,000 each of debts I think it was) then after that within a year of marriage got preggers with their first rugrat. After the second she got a historectomy... but the guy also is un treated ADHD and typical employment problems that go with that. She wanted to be a stay at home mom.(now she works as both boys are finally in school) But she'd do things like give her kids icecream, covered in milk and then put a bunch of blue food coloring on that. :P One kid was bizzarely hyper... anyways they got evicted at least twice due to financial issues.(guy has big dreams but problems with job stability) Just now is it stabalizing a bit more but their house would be hell to go to at times. even when they were struggling to get groceries to save face or to deal with impulsiveness they'd put on parties for halloween and newyears that got pricy.(this while struggling to simply feed kids craft dinner and having such pride they'd not deal with food banks at first) They are *still* paying off all their debt.(and have a house full of computers and things they can't afford which adds right back to that debt) I rarely see them anymore and several of their friends tired of trying to help them grasp things better for their own sake... have kind of cut distance. |
