Rant of the day... by JG1 2004-05-11 08:49:57
For anyone who has ever been IN a wedding...
For heaven's sakes...whoever came up with this bullcrap should be taken out with something large (preferably making that *splat* sound :P) Came back yesterday from going for dress fittings (im a bride's maid and yes please, all sympathy for me would be advisable) and my alterations totalled to $60.

Now let me remind you all that i bought this dress for $75. It might not be a lot but im trying to pay some court stuff off and i dont even have the money to pay my other bills. Also...ive been sucked into paying for a freakin lot of the bridal shower and i still havent gotten a stupid bridal gift or done anything to help with the bachlorette party. So i have some options...

1. look like a dork and NOT do anything about the wedding or

2. spend all the money and time that i DONT have on someone that barely recognizes me as a sister.

Ok i sound selfish but is it just me or are brides supposed to be cranky? I swear my sister has done a 180 and is treating us (my family) like complete crap. Yeah yeah i know she's under a lot of pressure...but i didnt tell her to plan a wedding!!
So that's my rant of the day...all responses and jeers are welcome :)
