WD Hard Drive Help Needed by tryxl2004-05-11 06:23:09
Have you tried standard data recovery software? by asayogure2004-05-11 06:48:28
Yes, no joy by tryxl 2004-05-11 07:05:05
I am very fearful it is a hardware failure, I just am hoping it is not.

Bios is finding the drive, but not assigning a drive letter in windows, or a mount point in Linux. (I tried Knoppix)

Is there a way to force the machine to access the drive, or is it just gone.

Hopefully not gone as it is the bosses drive.
