one of the most common is benzoiazepines and they can cause a bit of a hangover when you come off them this is the one I did take myself... it was specifically flurzepam which is common:

overdose rating medium
alcohol: avoid as it may increase seditive effect.
shouldn't be mixed with: alcohol, anti anxiety drugs, anti depressents, analgesics, and anti psychotics.

in all cases contact doc immediately if rash, blurred vision, or mental imparement/forgetfulness.

The above applies to all within that group of drugs...

next group is non benzodiaepine non barbiturate of which there is only one drug called chloral hydrate which again I think is reasonably common tho I could be wrong.

same warnings as above on taking booze with it... doctors should be contacted if the person becomes excitable, there is a headache or rash.

final group is barbiturate and it only has one drug in this class: secobarital

This one has a *never drink* while under treatment warning... this just doesn't increase the effects it can be leathal. It says alcohol may dangerously interact with this one. It lists several things you should take with this including beta blockers and cortizoids. It says it should be stopped if rash or confusion happens.
