What does your BIOS say the system is running at?

Did you select the right MB on the setup wizard?

If MBM5 is set up correctly it should read the same as the BIOS (to within a few degrees).

My MSI K7N2G read 30'C over it's real values before I flashed the BIOS.

I've never deliberately selected the wrong MB type to see what happens when MBM5 is misconfigured, but that does sound like reading a sensor chip with a different data format than the one it's expecting.

MBM5 CAN read a few degrees different. People have sent in physical temp vs. measured temp and they've put in temperature offsets if the chip reads to high or low. They're not more than the order of a few degrees.
