"Simple DNS+Traceroute". Just found on a google search, so no guarantees.

Or you could look for command-line wrappers. I think the ping command is an actual command-line utility, not a frontend to a proper API-accessible object.

And yes, my voice is issuing from somewhere nether-ward of my face.
