I just bypassed the old mechanical KVM switch I've been using for months, and thus switched back to 1280x1024 from 1024x768. Um, wow. I'd never realized that was such a huge jump.

And to think, a few years ago I ran at 1600x1200 all the time. Now I consider this text "small."

Well, I'll go back to my 19" soon enough anyway. My parents bought an 18" LCD, and I'll be able to fit the 19" ViewSonic in my room fine after the move tomorrow. I'd swapped with my parents for this 17" (also ViewSonic) because I didn't have the desk space at the time.
