My gynecologist had a solution for that too. by NOLAWitch2004-04-12 16:53:29
Yes, they were the mildest available by tzulah 2004-04-12 17:03:23
They started me on a low dose, and when that had awful side effects they moved me to the lowest dose available, and even that was bad. My cramps and flow lessened considerably which was nice, but I couldn't tolerate the constant headaches and nausea. I'd rather feel pain for 2 days a month and feel normal the rest of the time, than feel constantly crappy. And sometimes I get lucky, and the cramps will be light every now and then.

Your other solution is a bit too extreme for me I think... I'm looking forward to bearing children and I'd rather not risk damaging my child-bearing ability (or complicate it, or anything like that. Thanks to some unfortunate inherited genes, I think I'm going to have trouble having kids anyway.)

Though maybe once I am through having kids I'll remember it!
