a) menstrual cramps are horrific for some of us b) bleeding is messy and heavy flow days deserve both a super absorbant tampon AND a sanitary pad c) pregnancy scares are nothing to laugh at and so many women don't choose to abort when that would clearly be the best course of action to keep the rest of their lives from going to $#!+ d) too damned many men want to make the freaking rules about what we do with our uteruses Don't despair, dear girlfriends! There are solutions! I will share them with you to help you ameliorate the effects of having a uterus. a & b) Instead of having your "monthly" period, go seasonal. By taking birth control pills in sequence and skipping the inert ones, you can have a period once every three months instead of every month. Birth control pills also lessen the severity of cramps although it doesn't do much for the volume of bleeding. c) See a & b) or if you don't want that parasite to inhabit your body ever, have a tubal ligation. Do what's right for you and you alone. If your husband/boyfriend/SO wants children and you don't, tough toenails for him. He's not the one risking all sorts of complications and suffering the misery of morning sickness, bloating and labor pains. He can do without or find another woman to be his brood mare. d) GET POLITICAL! If we only let the jerks who wish to remove any reproductive choices from us have power, it's our own fault! Thank you. I have been wanting to post this for a while.
