150km range mean the U.S. is under it's coverage? Or for that matter, words such as indicating, or believed or would?
And Once their support network in Afghanistan was smashed we decided to go after another rogue nation that was in defiance of U.N. Directives to verifiably disarm and in violation of a cease-fire agreement. is NOT the reason presented before congress by shrub. Congress would NOT have supported him for that reason because it's an unsupportable one.
As to what the cia said, it's full of suppositions as well, all of which have yet to be proved years later. Shrub's supposition was his proof??? I'm sorry but that is NOT the immediate threat required by congress to support shrub.
And the other side of the coin, why are they following shrub now? They are questioning shrub and the questioning is FINALLY starting to get deeper. As to why they are allowing shrub to go on, take you pick of the stock phrases: "damage has already been done", "We live in a real world not a world of shouldn't have done", "give a man enough rope and he'll hang himself". |
