          ok here's what I would do (and did in the past) by Dad2TZK 2004-04-12 11:44:54
I would contact the users manager and tell them that he is having issues.
Then provide proof that he is having said issues via the printouts from the tracking software.
Use the above only as a last resort.

When he calls saying the computer is broken,
Speak to another user that uses the computer.
See if they can get on and tell original user that computer is fine and their password was borked again.

Could also be (if he is as brain dead as you imply)
that someone is doing this to him on purpose telling him his password changed.
Then he puts in said pw and gets borked.

People in that group could be doing that on purpose to get some unofficial downtime.
I have seen and done both when i was suporting 3000+ users
